Black History Month events at Brunton Hall

Black Awareness and Cultural Events (BAACE) proudly present its first Black History Month events!
BAACE brings a diverse set of people together to celebrate the contribution of Black people past and present. It provides a platform for promoting community cohesion through building trust and confidence among our diverse communities.

Saturday 12th October, from 12 noon at Brunton Hall Musselburgh

Afternoon entertainment: Drumming Workshops, Dancing Workshops, African Films/Movies, Story Telling Workshop, Face Painting, Musicians, Product Stalls, Raffle Prizes

Evening Entertainment: In House Bar, Drums with Bag Pipes, Comedy, Buffet, Musicians, Zulu Singers, Makossa Band, Raffle Prizes, Ghanama Trio - Sam A, Peter & Benny. Including live music from: DJ Yaw - Groove City Radio, Makossa, Samba Sene, Benny Tetteh-Lartey, Sylvain Ayite Ayikutu, Helen of Troy, Fidelia Ijomah , Zawaldi Alba Choir

Tickets for workshops, films : £4 adults, £2 child* (All children attending workshops must have a parent/guardian present) - available to buy on the day
After Party: 7pm – 12 midnight Tickets for After Party: £5 adults, £3 ages 10 – 16, ages 6 – 10 £1.50, Under 6s Free!
